Social Justice Guest Curator Program

Since 2022, gallupARTS has sponsored the Social Justice Guest Curator program at ART123 Gallery, inviting local artists to create shows of art addressing important and relevant social justice issues. In the last four years, 10 Guest Curators have brought together 23 artists and 11 musicians, bands, and musical groups to address a range of topics, from the experience of homelessness in Gallup to economic explotation in the Native arts market.
