Art on the Fence
In 2022, as part of the Coal Avenue Commons construction mitigation effort and in honor of the 100th Gallup Inter-Tribal Ceremonial, gallupARTS commissioned eight local artists to create wall mural-sized fence weavings along the chainlink construction fencing that lined Coal Avenue from 1st to 2nd Streets in downtown Gallup.
