Creative Economy Day

gallupARTS is organizing and hosting “Creative Economy Day” on Thursday, May 11
for this year’s Economic Development Week. 

Schedule of Events: 

• • • Entrepreneurship for Artists: Starting a Business 101 – An interactive, beginner-level workshop for artists, creatives, and makers interested in starting a business. Produced in collaboration with the Gallup Small Business Development Center.

• • • Downtown Creative Economy Open House – Highlighting new and Indigenous-owned and operated creative businesses in downtown Gallup–pop in for a quick visit!

        • Dalone Skateboards – 103 W Historic Hwy 66
        • Gallup Cultural Center – 201 E Historic Hwy 66
        • Goldie Luxe Studio – 107 S 1st Street
        • Gallup Service Mart – Classroom – 104 W. Coal Ave.
        • Quintana’s Coal Street Venue (112 W. Coal Ave.) + Quintana’s Music Center (223 W. Coal Ave.)
      • Open to the public 
    • Creative Industries “Happy Hour” – Artists, creative entrepren=eurs and small business owners, creative sector workers, arts and culture nonprofits…all are invited to an open house to connect and network, and discuss and prepare for new opportunities in New Mexico’s creative economy. (Light refreshments will be served.)
